Forgive us please, just as we were getting ready to go back to Lima, the server for our newsletter changed and Pittsburgh Tech Ministries (formerly The Church Gazette) who hosts our websites and mails our newsletter was completely changing formats for all of their clients. God willing, in two weeks, when the group from England leaves and I can breathe. I should be able to send you a real update. In the mean time, some quick prayer requests-- Our new Suffragan bishop elect- Fr Michael (Mike) Chapman will be consecrated on Sept 18. Pray for his wife Linda as she learns Spanish, and for Fr Mike as he learns more about the diocese in preparation for his new ministry. John (and a small group) met with Peruvian President Alan Garcia about some of the new religious equality laws. Pray that Alan be a man of his word and follow through. Susan as she hit the ground running taking care of groups and will still have a house full of people in the next two months. Robert as he moves into a new phase with his work with Rock the World as they have chosen a new director who lives out of the state where the current office is. James as he begins his third year of university and moves off campus for the first time. Good Shepherd Cathedral as we begin the Alpha course.
