Well, healing has been a bit slower than anticipated. When the doctor took off the bandage on Monday to remove the stitches, he decided it wasn't quite healed enough to take them out, so he put it off until Thursday evening. |

That's our theme for the our AMA Diocesan retreat. During this week, Susan will be with a team from Texas helping lead the AMA (Association of Anglican Women) retreat starting tonight.
Please pray for -- --That this may be a time of refreshment and learning for these women, most of whom are from the shanty towns. They have made sacrifices to be there, both in terms of family as well as finances. Some are coming from as far away as Arequipa, a 16 hour bus journey, to be here. --Safe travel for the 10 women coming to join us from Texas. Dr Deborah Newman (It's Tea Time for Your Soul) will be leading the meditations on the weekend. We are blessed to have her with us. --The AMA executive committee as we lead and direct 100 women. |

and we just got everything working right with our newsletter. Forgive us please, just as we were getting ready to go back to Lima, the server for our newsletter changed and Pittsburgh Tech Ministries (formerly The Church Gazette) who hosts our websites and mails our newsletter was completely changing formats for all of their clients. God willing, in two weeks, when the group from England leaves and I can breathe. I should be able to send you a real update. In the mean time, some quick prayer requests-- |
